Way Back Wednesday 4.10.13

Today's Way Back Wednesday showcases the some of the 400,000 people that showed up to celebrate America's Bicentennial in Boston On July 4, 1976! At the time, this was the largest crowd for any event in Boston history! There were people on their roofs, balconies and looking out windows all along Beacon Street waiting for Fiedler to start the concert with the Pops downbeat. It was a memorable day for our nation and for Boston!
